On The Pedestal Right Now

I've been traveling for the past few weeks, I needed this time off really... I've tons of photos to share but our itinerary is quite tight at the moment, the next thing I knew we're back on the road again to explore new places! I'm hoping to post our travels bit by bit as I go along and catch up with you guys!

On our recent mall trip, I bought new boots for our upcoming road trip. I got too excited to try it on our way home hence wearing it without even tying the laces properly. It's very comfortable and I am seriously in love with it! I have to have it since I noticed that I only  have office shoes, high heeled wedges, some stilletos and bland runners! It was funny looking at myself when I looked like a hobo when I wore a very old Aldo mid calf boots the whole time!

Expect to see me in sunnies most of the time, I don't bother to wear make up these days... yes I'm lazy!

Got nothing to do last Friday at home (and alone!), so I decided to transfer my iPhoto libraries dated from 2000 – 2009 to an external hard drive for back ups. I was looking thru it and found pictures of my vacation in HK Disneyland back in 2006, there I was like a kid all excited about the princesses and of course, Winnie the Pooh. In the pictures, I was wearing a jacket which I haven’t seen for a while but knew that it is hidden somewhere so I immediately dug my closet to look for it which led me to do a  bit of spring cleaning. I was freaking tired after…... Fast forward I managed to finish sorting out my clothes but didn’t find the jacket I was looking for in the first place.... ha! Never mind I will look again in the other closet…

Found this Zara dress from the bottom of my closet, I haven’t wore it for years! So I wore it the next day, put 3 different belts all over and matched it with my Dr. Martens. I wore it when I ran an errand that afternoon 'til dinner at Eddie Rockets then changed my shoe into one of my wedges to attend a housewarming party. I got to meet new found friends which is awesome because most of them are into photography, web community and fabulosity!

Rest of my weekend was filled with popcorn and old movies like Roman Holiday. Life is soooooo good!

1. Fringe

I finally give fringe a try, I'm liking it at the moment! I cut it myself last week when I got bored and took the chance, I'm a risk taker when it comes to hair. Just that I need get up a little bit earlier every morning to do my hair (which I didn't have to before), because if not, I would look like a schmuck. 

2. iPad

This, this is the my future. My life revolves around it. Thank you for coming into my life.
If you're a mac user eversince, you'll know what I mean :)

  

3. Harajuku

The bag that I haven't used yet but placed beside my bed so I can stare at it at night, weird....

4. Camera

I'm starting to do some photo shoots again, I'm glad I did. I wasn't aware how I miss doing it. I thank these ladies (picture above) for lifting my photography spirit. I've got more surprises...

I never had a sister, perhaps the reason I always treat my girlfriends as real sisters. I've moved too many times, be it in small city or big country and I'm proud to say that I keep my communication with my girlfriends no matter how far we are from each other, we make extra effort to catch up on our own gossips ☺ Thank God for facebook but on second thought I find solace writing my thoughts in this personal blog of mine. There are things I want to write (or post) which my co-bloggers get it in an instant like posting an outfit or rant on senseless stuff somehow. Not all my friends knew about this blog maybe because I don't want to stress myself out by people I knew to judge me based from whatever they see on the web. I'm grateful to my co-bloggers really, some are really close to my heart and you know who you are ☺

Dagger Looks

UPDATES: (Just so you know I'm still here :)

• Wearing these 2 pairs of Zara shoes in turns, I'd never expected how comfortable they are! They're one of the best buys I had in years and now patting my shoulder for I have waited for summer sales before getting them.
• My toe nails are pink.
• I'm in the process of dying my hair redder. I still hope to be a vampire one day...
• Got dagger looks from women (of course!) when we went malling over the weekends. Maybe because of my slutty shorts (?) or because of my fab clogs perhaps? For godsake, I was with the hubby and daughter (who is the same height as me by the way)...... Aaaaaahhh Ireland ☺

• Moving on, I'm totally into subscribing blogs thru bloglovin from now on, I find it neater to look at and organize compare to google reader. I've sent a query to bloglovin people few weeks ago and was surprised how quickly they've responded. It was just like few hours ago after my query and received a reply from them straight away.
